How much will it cost to replace my roof?
Due to a wide range of variables in roof projects there is no one size fits all answer to this question. We inspect and quote based on multiple factors such as:
Type of materials:
We price out each roof based on current market factors to ensure a fair price.
Complexities:
Each roof is different, varying in pitch, height, and penetrations. These complications can cause a project to require more labor hours and materials that can affect your cost.
A lot of materials will fall to the ground during the tear off process. Anything surrounding the house that requires additional attention to protect may cause the crew extra time. BBQs, beloved plants, trees, and anything else that will require extra protective measures.
Condition of the roof:
If the roof has already started leaking, water damage may have to be repaired prior to installation of a new roof. Where all of this damage may not be found before removing the shingles we can get a good idea of roof conditions while walking the roof.
Since there are so many things to consider while preparing your estimate we will not have an answer for you onsite.
How long will it take to get our estimate?
We understand that you are trying to get your quotes together as quickly as possible. Estimates are generally scheduled on Tuesdays, and we strive to have all roof estimates sent out within two business days. Many times, you will have the estimate by the end of the work day depending on amount of estimates scheduled that day.
How long will my roof take to replace?
We are a smaller roofing company in Missoula, so please be patient as it may take us slightly longer than other companies. The size and complexity of your roof will determine how long it will take, however we can give you an approximate timeframe once we get on site.
What does your schedule look like?
We will generally have our season booked by June of every year. Make sure to do your roof shopping early and often as it is hard for us to schedule roofing projects late in the season. We will still provide an estimate for the following year.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! We are completely legal to roof in Missoula County. We can provide these documents per request.
Are you able to guarantee your work?
All of our full roof replacements come with a 25 year workmanship warranty through our GAF partner. Check out our Warranty page for more information on this.
Will you pressure me into a new roof?
Absolutely NOT!
Our roofing technicians will be 100% transparent with you regarding your roofing needs, whether they be an immediate concern or maybe a little maintenance.
Not only do we encourage you to shop around, we hold your roofing estimate for 30 days so you can do so.
